Auchan, the group to which the supermarket firm Alcampo belongs, has been in the news these days for trying again, which would create an even bigger French distribution giant by uniting two heavyweights in the sector.

Specifically, the integration with Carrefour would help the Mulliez family, founders of Auchan, create the largest French supermarket and strengthen its position against low-price German rivals Lidl and Aldi. Any deal would need the backing of Carrefour’s main shareholders, the Moulin family and Brazilian retail magnate Abilio Diniz.

Although for now there is nothing concrete, what does seem clear is that Auchan and Alcampo are willing to continue expanding their squad in Spain, where they have had significant weight for more than two decades.

The French hypermarket and supermarket chain currently has close to 50 selection processes open with more than one vacancies in many of them, raising the total number to over one hundred.

What are the working conditions and salary of Alcampo
