The Student Front and Students in Movement have called a student strike throughout the State on Thursday, March 24, under the slogan “Against educational reforms”, mobilizations that the CCOO supports due to the course that the negotiations of the Vocational Training Law are taking , the LOSU and even the already approved text of the LOMLOE, and following the line of some of the union’s historical claims.
From the Teaching Federation of the CCOO we have already denounced the continuing character that we observe in matters as relevant as fraud in practices; the suspension of the University Coexistence Law (LCU), which we consider to be one more gag on student participation; the promotion of the public education system at all levels; the protection of all the languages and cultures of the State; or the democratization of the governing bodies of our educational centers.
In this sense, we support the mobilizations of March 24, and we continue negotiating to protect the quality of our educational system and the working conditions of education professionals.
