94.94% of the students who have taken the test in the Community of Madrid have been approved in the Assessment for University Access (EvAU). Which means that 31,612 students have passed the test and 1,685 have failed.
According to their report, there has been an increase in the pass rate compared to previous calls. In 2020, 92.16% approved and, in 2019, 93.11%.
The data by gender show that women have obtained, slightly above men, better results, with 94.95% (17,639 have passed). In the case of men, 13,973 were approved (94.95% passed the test).
At the press conference, the UC3M Vice-Rector for Students, Mónica García, highlighted that in this ordinary session of the EvAU there have been “very good grades” and, in addition, she has emphasized the “exemplary behavior of the students”.
Two students stand out, from the IES Valle Inclán in Torrejón de Ardoz and the Colegio Valdefuentes in Madrid for obtaining the highest score in the test, a ten, in this edition of the EvAU.
The university in which there have been the most passes is Complutense, registering 96.17% of passes.
In addition, seven students have tied for the second best grade with a 9,950 out of ten and another five have obtained the third highest grade, reaching a 9,975.
In terms of participation, it is significant that, of the total number of those who took the tests on the campuses of the six Madrid public universities, 11,399 took the test at the Complutense University (UCM), 8,747 at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and 4,634 at UC3M.
The university in which there have been the most passes is Complutense, registering 96.17% of passes. They are followed by the UAM, the University of Alcalá (UAH), and the UC3M, with 95.30%, 94.48%, and 93.68% pass rates, respectively.
However, participation this year has fallen, presenting 33,455 while in the previous call, 36,791 students participated in the test.
The report shows that most of the students presented have chosen the Science branch (17,986), 11,533 students have opted for Social Sciences, 2,409 for Humanities and only 1,369 have chosen the Arts branch.
No surprises in Science

In the same way, he stressed that the percentage of Science students who have passed has been very high in all universities and has emphasized that “no anomaly” has occurred, based on the positive results of the Science block.
