Steps to create a Gmail account
Before creating an account, whether in Google, Outlook or any other platform, we must consider whether, in the future, we are interested in being able to recover the account in case we forget the password. If we do not indicate our date of birth correctly, we put a false phone number or the recovery account does not exist either, the chances that we will have to recover the account are reduced to zero. Once we are clear about this concept, we show you the steps to follow in order to create a Google account.
The first thing we must do is visit , just like we do to search for any information on Google. If we already have a Google account and want to create a new one, click on the image of our avatar located in the upper right corner and select the option Sign off. Next, we go back to the upper right corner and click on Log in.
Gmail account type
Next, the Google login screen will be displayed. Since what we want is to create a new account, we click on the Create account button and select the use that we are going to give the account:

- For work or my company
In this case, we are going to select for my personal use. If we are going to use the account at a professional level, we will select that option. The only difference between this account and one for personal use is that we must enter the name of our company, the address and so on, to create a listing on Google Maps.

If we enter a name that is not available, when going to the next field, the email name entered will be shown in red, indicating that it is already in use.
Finally we must enter a password, a password that must be made up of at least 8 characters and that can be made up of letters, numbers and symbols. If we use an easy to remember password like 012345678, password, 11111111 and others, the platform will invite us to create a more secure password. Passwords of this type, every year, are the most used, so that friends of others have it very easy to access accounts with hardly any effort. Once all the data has been entered, click on Next.
Data to recover the account
In the next window, Google invites us to enter our phone number. This option is not necessary, but it will help us to improve the security of our account, since it will only be used for this purpose. We must also enter a recovery email to which we have access. This email account will be the one that Google uses to send us the steps to follow in order to recover the account if it has been stolen or we have lost the password.
We must also enter the data of our date of birth. With this data, Google can confirm that we are of legal age to allow us to access content that is not suitable for all audiences, so it is necessary to enter it. In addition, it also uses this data to target its advertising campaigns. In addition, we also have the option of entering our gender. This last option is not mandatory and is used only so that Google can target advertising campaigns, although it does not really specify it.
Establish our experience with Google
In the next window, we can establish how we want our user experience with Google to be, that is, if we want Google to show us ads of all kinds or if we want to receive ads of only what interests us. In addition, it also allows us to have power over our data, that is, if we want Google to store a history of our activity and, if so, for how long it will be stored. To configure even the smallest detail of the Google account that we are going to create, we choose the Manual customization option (5 steps).
The first step invites us to establish if we want Google store our data navigation, for how long or if we do not want it not to save them.

Next, Google invites us to select whether we want to see all types of ads, or ads that are based on our search history. If we have decided that Google and YouTube store our search history, we can select the first option to display ads related to our searches. If we are not very clear about what we want Google to do with our data, in this window, we can check the box privacy reminders so that, regularly, Google sends us an email reminding us of our preferences and inviting us to modify them.
In the last window it shows us a summary of all the preferences that we have established in the application to confirm that they are correct, we scroll to the bottom of that page and click on Confirm.

How to access Gmail mail

How to send an email
Once we are clear about the operation and distribution of the functions that Gmail makes available to us, it is time to write an email message and start using the account we have created. To do so, from the home screen, click on the button Writelocated in the upper left.
