Dumbest Google Docs bug makes files unopenable

They discover an error in the Google Docs software that causes each time a series of words are written with online grammar suggestions activated, the document fails, which can cause its recovery to be complicated.

Google Docs is one of the company’s most used tools, the functions it offers to write texts are very useful, easy and intuitive for users, however, an error has been discovered that is complicating the use of this application.

It was a user by the name of Pat Needham who first reported this bug which he discovered by typing “AND.AND.AND.AND.AND,” with grammar suggestions turned on. This caused the document to suffer an error, and the user had to do several maneuvers to recover it.

Needham acknowledges that he has only tested it on the Google Chrome extension, and says that the bug is only susceptible when the series of words are uppercase, surprisingly this does not happen if they are only lowercase or if they are mixed.

Following this comment, posted on the for developers, other users said that they had also experienced this problem even in other browsers. In turn, a company spokesman replied “We are aware of this error and we are working to solve it”

Apart from not being activated when the series of words is not all in capital letters, according to other users, this bug is also not effective if you open the Google Docs app from your smartphone, so in the event that this happens to you while you are editing a text in the web app, you just have to access from your mobile, delete the series of words causing this bug, and you will be able to access your document again.
