Force Facebook to show the featured image – .com

Normally when we paste a link on Facebook, Facebook checks it to capture certain information and display it, namely the title, description, and featured image (if any). For example, if I type “https://”, the following appears:

But sometimes it is not so. As much as we paste it over and over again, the happy image does not appear. That’s because Facebook doesn’t actually go every time to “see” what’s on the page. Just once. And the next times it uses the information that it already has stored. The problem is that sometimes it doesn’t get the image right the first time, and there is no human form that appears again.

Well, the trick is to go to . There we introduce the URL, and click on “Debug”, and then on “Fetch new scrape information”.

This will force Facebook to “re-look” that URL to see if there is anything new since it last checked. This is also very useful if we have made a typo in the title or description, and we want Facebook to review it again.
