At Glovo Q-Commerce you can order any product and receive it in less than 30 minutes
Glovo has announced the launch of a new Q-Commerce division, which will start in Spain with more than 20 million euros and more than 100 professionals who will expand their instant logistics service beyond food: products from supermarkets and other types of establishments in the city, including gifts, beauty, electronics, toys and more, and whose express delivery times will be less than 30 minutes.
The strategy behind Glovo’s Q-Commerce is based on B2B logistics that includes its network of dark stores, which it plans to expand massively over the next year. These warehouses are being used more and more in eCommerce and consist of spaces similar to a store, but which are not open to the public, they only serve as a logistics center close to the customer or as a collection point for their online purchases.. That is to say: Glovo delivery men will not have to go to a store to make the purchase and take it home, but will use the items stored in their dark store.
The company is already working with retail brands such as Unilever, Nestlé and L’Oreal, in addition to some , Alcampo and , while has already signed global agreements with other supermarkets and hypermarkets such as Walmart, Biedronka () and Kaufland (Germany), whose products it will store and sell in its dark stores. In addition, this new phase in the evolution of Glovo will include alliances with companies of the stature of El Corte Inglés, Douglas and Clarel, among others, with which to supply the demand for beauty, fashion, cosmetic or electronic products. Your main goal will be offer any type of product with deliveries in less than 30 minutes and become a rival to Amazon in the region.
