For this reason, the Mundopsicologos.com price observatory has prepared a study based on internal data, to analyze the evolution of online therapy hourly rates at both regional and provincial levels.
In light of the research carried out, it seems that in Spain the average cost of a session with a psychologist is 51.00 euros/hour, between a rate of 45.25 euros/hour in Andalusia and 62.00 euros/hour in Balearics. Surprisingly, neither Madrid nor Barcelona enter the top 10 of the most expensive cities.
Asturias, the autonomous community with the cheapest rate
Asturias is the one that wins the highest position on the podium of the communities where it is cheaper to start therapy, with a rate of 45.00 euros/hour. Andalusia follows with 45.25 euros/hour and Castilla y León and La Rioja tie in third position, with an average price of 45.50 euros/hour.
Continuing in the ranking of the least expensive regions we find Extremadura with an average price of 48.75 euros/hour, Aragón 49.00 euros/hour and Castilla-La Mancha 49.50 euros/hour.
Balearic Islands is the most expensive
The Balearic Islands this year is the autonomous community with the highest rates, with an average of 62.00 euros/hour per session. The minimum price is 54.00 euros/hour and the maximum is 70.00 euros/hour. Along with the Mediterranean islands, we find the Canary Islands (55.50 euros/hour) and Galicia (55.00 euros/hour) on the podium.
The ranking of the most expensive regions continues with Catalonia (54.00 euros/hour), Valencian Community (53.50 euros/hour), Basque Country (52.50 euros/hour), Navarra (51.50 euros/hour) , Murcia (51.50 euros/hour), Cantabria (51.50 euros/hour) and Community of Madrid (50.50 euros/hour).
Castellón is the most expensive province, Malaga the cheapest
In the top 10 of the most expensive provinces by hourly rate we find: Castellón opens the ranking (67.00 euros/hour), followed by Ourense (65.00 euros/hour) and the Balearic Islands (62.00 euros/hour). It is followed by Tarragona (61.00 euros/hour), Albacete (60.00 euros/hour), Álava (57.50 euros/hour), Vizcaya (56.50 euros/hour), Las Palmas (56.00 euros/ hour), Tenerife (55.00 euros/hour), Huesca (55.00 euros/hour). Surprisingly, neither Madrid nor Barcelona appear among the most expensive cities.
