APBE, the Association of Wedding Professionals of Spain, calculates that the coronavirus crisis caused the postponement of 59,097 from March to June, the month in which the country will reach ‘Phase 3’ of the de-escalation and stage in which weddings can be held nuptials. Thus, the association has presented a series of tips on how to give a wedding without compromising the health of the guests.

The , for the easing of certain national restrictions established during the state of alarm in application of Phase 3 of the Plan for the transition to a new normality, allows the celebration of weddings through various prevention measures. These measures must be complied with from June 1 and until the end of the state of alarm scheduled for June 21.
1. Cleaning and protection: workers must have means to clean their hands and protective equipment such as masks when a safety distance of two meters cannot be guaranteed.
2. Civil ceremonies: ceremonies in public or private facilities will have a maximum capacity of 75%. In any case, a maximum of 150 people in open spaces and 75 people in closed spaces. Everyone must comply with sanitary measures to maintain social distance, hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette.
3. Religious ceremonies: places of worship will have a maximum capacity of 75%; If it is not determined, certain calculation criteria must be followed, which exclude corridors, lobbies, the presidency and collaterals and patios. In the individual seats, one person, in the benches, one person for each linear meter of bench. If there are no seats, it will be one person for each square meter of area reserved for seats. Likewise, there must be gel or disinfectant dispensers at the entrance. 4. During the banquet: during the celebration, the maximum capacity of hotel and restaurant establishments is 50% indoors and 75% outdoors. Guests must have a separation of two meters between tables or set of tables. The maximum occupancy per table or set of tables is 20 people, always respecting the minimum interpersonal safety distance. For consumption at the bar. There will be a minimum separation of two meters between guests or groups and discotheques will not be allowed. The hotels will determine the capacity of spaces for events and safer conditions for their realization.
5. Hygiene and prevention measures: the equipment and the premises must be cleaned and disinfected. In turn, the use of single-use tablecloths for the treat will be prioritized. Likewise, gel or disinfectant dispensers at the establishment entrance and at the bathroom exit. And goodbye to self-service products, since single-dose disposables or their service on request will be prioritized.
6. Avoid crowds in bathrooms and the bar: an itinerary must be established in areas susceptible to crowding, taking into account that in the use of toilets the maximum occupancy will be a single person for spaces of up to four meters. In upper spaces with more than one booth or urinal, the maximum occupancy will be 50% of the number of booths or urinals. Also, the service staff at the table and bar must guarantee the safety distance with the guest, applying hygiene and prevention procedures.
