Steps to follow to edit a PDF in Word
To do this, the first thing we have to do is open Word 2016 or later, select the menu option File > Open and what we want to edit. Once the file is selected, click on Open and we will see how Microsoft Word shows us a window with the notice that the PDF file is going to be converted to a word document editable and that depending on its size and content, the process can last a few seconds.
If the PDF file contains a lot of graphics, the warning displayed tells us that their appearance may change when converting the PDF to Word. We can also find some variation between the PDF and Word with the size of the margins, line breaks, footnotes, special formatting options, etc. However, the vast majority of elements or layout from the PDF will transfer to Word without a problem.
Once this is done, we will have our PDF in Word to be able to edit it and make the changes we want, add more paragraphs, edit or delete data, position or reformat charts, etc. When we have the document back to our liking, we can save it again in PDF format.
For this, we choose the option File > Save As from the Word menu, we select the path where we want to save it and in the list of the Type of file we must make sure to choose the type PDF.
