How to enter your Facebook account without a password

Sometimes it can be difficult to remember all the passwords to access various platforms. Thus, Facebook has a direct login featurewithout entering the password.

Setting up login

The login function by pressing the profile photo usually appears automatically. However, if it is not displayed, it can be configured as follows:

1. Go to open the drop-down menu and select “Settings and Privacy”.
2. Press the “Settings” option.
3. Click on “Security and login”.
4. Access the section “Save your login information”. (In the desktop version, select “Edit” to enter.)
5. In the “This browser” section, click on “Save your login information”.

Once this is done, it is possible to access the account from the home page, simply by clicking on the profile photo. This trick is valid for mobile or desktop browser.

Using the same application

In the application, you must enter the access data and accept, when the option “Save your login information”. In this way, you only have to open Facebook and click on the profile photo to access the account.

With AutoFill in Chrome

The first time you log in to Facebook, a password auto-save suggestion is displayed. If it does not appear, the steps that must be taken are as follows:

1. Open Google Chrome and press the three dots in the upper right corner.
2. Enter “Setting”.
3. Select the option “Autocomplete”.
4. Access the section “Passwords”.
5. Check the password saving functions, these are:
   -Ask if I want to save passwords.
   -Login automatically.
6. Look for the “Passwords that are never saved” and look for the “x” to remove Facebook from this list.
7. Login to Facebook following this e log in.
8. A notification should appear with the question “Do you want to save the password?“, in which case you just have to press “Keep”.
9. If the notification is not seen or has been closed accidentally, it will be necessary click on the key in the address bar.

By completing these steps, you will not need to enter the password manually. However, for this to work, the browser must be linked to Google.

Additional Information

Currently, Facebook has disabled QR login. Although you can still search for the scanner in the application, it is not possible to find the code to scan on the platform. On the other hand, if you have forgotten it, you can reset the password by clicking on the “Have you forgotten your password?” option.
