What is the profile of a Le Rosey student?
The student interested in entering the center must be characterized by having:
intellectual ability
Linguistic ability in English or French (for junior students this knowledge will not be vital)
They must be “active, curious and ambitious,” explains the organization.
Students with a severe learning disability, violent, antisocial or racist attitudes are not suitable for Le Rosey. “Life at Le Rosey is based on a commitment to discipline founded on respect for others and their differences,” says the institution in its bases. The use of drugs or alcohol is also prohibited.
What Le Rosey promises its students
All students at this center prepare for an International Baccalaureate (IB) academic certification or the French baccalauréat (S. ES or L).
The learning process is bilingual, both linguistically and culturally. Students at this school will study in English and French and are trained for “Anglo-Saxon” and “Continental European” ways of thinking and reasoning. And in addition, two other optional languages are studied, therefore the system is quadrilingual.

The campus of this center is spread over a 28-hectare site where trees surround guest houses and sports fields. The suites are single or double depending on their age and can be decorated by students to suit their tastes so they can work and relax better.
In addition, the center has a winter campus where students move between January and March. The school has its own chalets, allowing students and teachers to live and work there. In both these facilities and those of Rolle, the area for boys and girls is separated.
