In the sixth class of the iCloud for business course we are going to see how to use reminders and notes in iCloud, and how to take advantage of it for our company.
6.1 – Reminders and notes in iCloud
Today we focus on two applications: Reminders and notes, which together with mail, calendar and contacts close this iCloud “Suite/CRM”.
In this case, we will see how we can do everything from the Mac, without going through iCloud, since there is nothing there that is not in the client application. Let’s see what options we have, how everything is synchronized, and how to work as a team.
Apart from the rich notes and the classification by folders that we can do, one of the strengths of this application is that of to share grades, which without a doubt helps a lot to work between teams. You have already seen that the system is quite different from the rest of synchronization cases, because in these cases we receive an email to accept that “shared” note.
As for the reminders, let’s note that it is 100% integrated, and that it allows us to join the task lists that we want, in order to work perfectly as a team.
In the final scheme that Emilcar has elaborated, we can see how we do not have all the options available on all devices, and what limitations there are in both Notes and Reminders 🙂
6.2 – Freehand notes
And now that we have the basics clear, let’s see a very interesting functionality that we have in the iOS Notes application: Freehand writing. We will see how to use it and in which cases it will help us a lot.
As you can see, the operation is very good, and it adjusts perfectly to the movement of our finger. And tools like the ruler that use haptic feedback will allow us to work more comfortably.
