The National Police has warned of a new scam, through technology, that tries to steal personal and bank data. In this case, posing as courier companies, such as Correos, FedEx or Seur, when clicking on the received SMS, a program is downloaded that gives access to all the content of a mobile phone.
All that glitters is not gold, nor do you have to pick up a package when none has been ordered. In recent days, scams posing as courier companies have emerged, where the user is asked for information about a shipment with a URL that leads to a fake program.
“Your package is about to arrive”, “your shipment could not be made” or “check the status of your order here”. These are some of the formulas that hackers use to introduce the virus into phones. An address that, as soon as you click on it, downloads the program giving full access to personal data, in addition to bank data.
They pretend to be parcel companies???? for you to click a link and steal your data
Do not believe? and delete????

A new phishing attempt, which this time tries to take advantage of the multitude of online purchases that are made to avoid contacts by coronavirus. Given this, the police ask for great caution and always monitor this type of content, since these companies do not usually request personal data via SMS.
