LinkedIn, which in recent times has not stopped launching new features on its platform, has released a new tool (not yet available in our country) to make known to its users the potential income they should have based on their profession: Linkedin Salary.
that combines the user’s own profile with the social network’s own analytics to try to establish connections between your professional salary and that of the most direct business competition, or between your income and your educational level, taking into account other parameters such as location or years of work experience.
How the Linkedin Salary portal works
track, analyze and collects global salaries to give each user who wants it an orientation on the money they should be earning in their profession. Linkedin Salary compares the salary of the user in question with that of his business competition, with other workers who have the same level of education or the same years of experience, or from the same geographical area.
LinkedIn Salary It has a search engine in which the user can write their profession or business sector, and another in which to define their location (city, country…). The tool provides statistical data and graphs with the average salary of that business sector, and a comparison of the salaries of the same profession in other companies. Each user can also carry out a more exhaustive search defining the years of experience or type of company.
In order to use all the functionalities of Linkedin Salary, the platform will force you to share your salary; except for premium users, who will be able to skip it. However, it also offers services such as information on possible financial compensation from which to benefit, depending on the type of company in question. This new tool is now available in the United States, Canada, and the , and is expected to be active in the rest of the world during the first months of 2017.
