Reading Lists on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch

Today we are going to teach you how to use the reading lists on your device iOS.

Reading lists are a function that is implemented in iOS, which allows you to mark a page for later reading. That is, if we are browsing the Internet and we see an interesting page that we want to read, but we do not have time to do so at that moment, we can bookmark this page to read later. This way, we will have it on hand, for when we want to have it.

There are several that perform this function, but if we do not want to install any of them, we can use this option, which is the one that comes in Safari. and thanks to iCloudyou can have this page saved in your iPad, iphone, iPod touch and even Macto access it whenever you want.

HOW TO USE READING LISTS ON IPHONE, IPAD AND IPOD TOUCH

First of all, we must access a web page. For example, we enter , and once inside we look for an article that we want to see.

When we have already selected the article, we have to save it to be able to view it later. To do this, if we look at the bottom of the browser, we have the famous button “share” (It is the button that has an up arrow inside a square).

We have done the example with a iphonein the event that you do it with a iPadthe buttons will appear at the top of the browser.

We will have to click on this button. After clicking, a menu will appear in which all the available options appear:

  • Send by message.
  • Send by Email.
  • Share by Twitter.
  • Save to Favorites.
  • Add to reading lists.
  • Add to home screen.
  • Copy.
  • Print.

We are interested in adding to reading lists, so we can read this article later, therefore we choose this option. After clicking on this icon, we will have the page saved to read at another time.

To access it from any page or from the main screen of Safariwe will only have to click on the icon of the book (it’s an open book) that appears at the bottom of the browser. Once inside this menu, 3 tabs appear:

  • Favorites.
  • Reading lists.
  • Shared.

Once again, we will have to click on the reading lists icon, which is the one with a glasses. By clicking on this tab, we will see all the pages that we have saved. We will only have to click on the one we want to read and it will take us directly to the web page where the article we want to see is located.

And in this way we can add pages to be able to read them later, without having to use another app for it.
