This can become a serious problem, especially if we have been collecting them for years in the browser itself.

Chrome automatically syncs all data capable of doing so, with the cloud. In this way, any change that we make in the Chrome browser on a PC or Mac will be automatically synchronized with the rest of the computers that use the Google browser associated with the same account.

To check it, we simply have to press the keyboard shortcut Control + H, and look for said page in the list of websites that we have recently visited. If we find it, we simply have to open it again by clicking on it and, once open, we add it to the bookmarks of our browser so that it continues to be there.
Chrome keeps all the history of web pages that we have visited since we installed the browser on our device. Locate the backup bookmarks
It is for all this that we are going to give you an interesting solution in the event that you encounter this problem. We must bear in mind that the process of recovery It is not complicated, but you have to know how to do it. Therefore, let’s see the easiest way to recover the deleted google chrome bookmarks, for whatever reason. The first thing we should know at this point is that there is a saved file on the hard drive that acts as a backup copy of Chrome bookmarks. Due to this, therefore, the first thing we will do is open a window of the File Browser Windows. One of them will have the name of Bookmarks, in addition to another with the same name pro with the extension .bak.

To use Bookmarks.bak to replace the Bookmarks file, the first thing we have to do is copy the file to another directory to be able to recover it if we need one. Next, we delete the file from the directory where it is stored. Finally, we removed the .bak extension from the Bookmarks.bak file to make it the bookmarks file Chrome uses when it starts next time.
If the file extensions are not displayed To identify the .bak file, we need to open File Explorer and, in the View ribbon tab, turn on Putty Filename Extensions. Go back to a previous restore point

Windows Backup restores Windows settings and removes apps that have been installed since the last time the backup was created, keeping user data.
To go back to a previous restore point, we must type in the restore point search box and select the first option Create a restore point. Next, click on System Restore and select the oldest restore point that has every chance of keeping the bookmarks that we have deleted. If we have been lucky, once we have recovered the backup, when we open Chrome, if the deleted bookmark is stored in that copy, it will be synchronized with the Google cloud and also will be available on all devices associated with the same browser account. To avoid facing similar issues in the future, it is recommended to periodically back up your bookmarks outside of Chrome to prevent bookmarks that you delete from being deleted from the backup as well.

We have already seen that Google’s own browser creates a security file in which it stores the bookmarks that little by little we have been collecting. But how could it be otherwise, the program itself gives us the opportunity to generate our own personalized backup. This is where we will have the opportunity to store it somewhere safe and update the face in a short time.
When we talk about a secure site, we are referring to an external storage unit that is not the same one where we have our own windows. In this way, in the event of a disaster or some serious failure in the PC, we will have that copy of the favorites stored in some other unit such as a Flash memory or a usb disk. In addition, this is an extremely simple and fast process that we can carry out in a matter of seconds. For all this, once we have the Google browser on the screen, we go to its main menu.
Here we display the list of options corresponding to Bookmarks, where we will have the opportunity to click on Bookmark Manager. This will give us a new window in which, a priori, all the elements and their folders stored over time should be seen.
