Salvamás, the proximity supermarket chain specializing in fresh produce, continues its expansion in the Community of Madrid and Castilla-La Mancha and will open 15 supermarkets throughout this year, thereby consolidating its regional leadership and ending the year with nearly 300 locations.
Salvamas will arrive for the first time, throughout 2022, in the Madrid municipalities of Alcobendas and Villanueva del Pardillo. With the new openings, the company will add 105 points of sale in Madrid city and 244 in the Community of Madrid, and 46 in Castilla La Mancha, reaching 290 stores in the center of the country.
The company addresses this expansion by increasing its investment and reinforcing its logistics capacity, generating new employment opportunities and strengthening its strategy of firm commitment to sustainability.

In 2022, Savings will carry out the refurbishment of nine points of sale, which will entail a comprehensive remodeling that will include the renewal of its interior image and the exterior adaptation to the new company logo. A modern and friendly image, adapted to its customers to facilitate all their shopping in one place with a large and complete assortment, and the highest quality fresh products.
Ready meals
Recently, the chain has developed a new concept: a space dedicated to latto both inside and on an outside terrace, with an assortment that includes up to 50 references that change daily.
At the moment, this service is only offered in the supermarket in the Madrid town of San Sebastián de los Reyes (recently opened), although it is planned to be incorporated in the new establishments that are inaugurated from now on, provided that the property has of sufficient width.
The new service allows the customer to purchase the product and heat it up in the establishment’s own kitchen (regardless of whether or not they take it home), or to do it themselves in a microwave enabled in the interior dining area, which has a capacity of 30 people, or on the outdoor terrace with capacity for twelve). The price of the dishes ranges between 3 and 5 euros.
