Use Kodi like Apple TV
To convert the Kodi application into an Apple TV type receiver, it is not necessary to compare or download any of the different extensions available within this platform, so we are not going to any risk using this option once activated. The only requirement that we must meet is that the device where we use Kodi has Wi-Fi or Ethernet and bluetooth connection.
If we do not have a bluetooth connection, no matter how much we activate this option, we will never be able to enjoy it. This is because Apple’s AirPlay function works similarly to AirDrop, using both your device’s Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection to send any type of file. To activate this function within Kodi, once we have opened this function, click on the gear wheel located in the upper left part of the application. Also activate DLNA
In addition to activating AirPlay, another function that we should activate in this program is DLNA. Thanks to it we will be able to centralize our multimedia content in a single place (for example, the computer, or server, where we are running Kodi), and store all our movies and series there.
In this way, in addition to being able to play the content on the television where we have Kodi connected, we will also be able to do it on any other multimedia device that is connected to the local network (and, of course, is compatible with this protocol).
