The CNMV forces Enagas to remove Maite Costa’s independent rating

The National Securities Market Commission has forced Enagás to reclassify the consideration of Maite Costa on the company’s board and remove her independent status.

The technical manager of the gas system has decided to incorporate her as “another external” given her recent presence on the board of directors of Red Eléctrica as a proprietary director representing Sepi, a board from which she had to resign in order to gain access in this case. to the technical manager of the gas system.

The former president of the National Energy Commission will hold the status of “other external” director. This new category will be indicated in the information on this director on the Enagás website.

The CNMV considers that after a year, Maite Costa will already be considered independent.
