The autonomous communities, together with the Ministry of Health, have agreed to the perimeter closure of all Spanish regions for Easter. In order to stop the increase in infections, which will bring a new holiday with hardly any events, with reduced social gatherings and with a curfew that will go from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
With an incidence of contagion of almost 160 national average cases per 100,000 inhabitants (with wide differences between autonomous communities) and 722 deaths in the last week, the Autonomous Communities have reached a common agreement to completely shield Spain from the Easter coming up.
From March 26 to April 9, to protect the key dates for both the weekend ahead and the week behind, the Public Health Commission has only found Madrid’s reticence entirely.
Madrid prevents a 100% common agreement
