This is how the new minimum amounts of pensions are in 2022: retirement, widowhood, permanent disability…

This new year has begun with increases in pensions, including the minimum ones. Unlike other years, in which these increases have been announced after the date change in the calendar, in 2022 all pensioners who receive the minimum pension have entered the new year with the exact data of how much their benefits will increase.

The Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, José Luis Escrivá, already anticipated a few weeks ago that the minimum amounts of pensions and this has been the case: they have risen to 3%, as have the (IMV).

Thus, by 2022 these minimum pensions rise more than contributory pensions, which for the first time and due to the ‘Escrivá reform’ have increased with the one that takes into account the average Consumer Price Index (CPI) of the previous year and that has entailed these benefits.

Social Security, for information, how are these new amounts of minimum pensions after the rise of 2022, valid for the whole year. They are the following:

Retirement pensions

-People aged 65 or over with a dependent spouse: 890 euros per month and 12,467 euros per year.

-People under 65 years of age with a dependent spouse: 834.90 euros per month and 11,688.60 euros per year.

-People aged 65 or over with a non-dependent spouse: 685 euros per month and 9,590 euros per year.

-People under 65 years of age with a non-dependent spouse: 638.20 euros per month and 8,934.80 euros per year.

-People aged 65 or over without a spouse: 721.70 euros per month and 10,103.80 euros per year.

-People under 65 without a spouse: 675.20 euros per month and 9,452.80 euros per year.

widow’s pension

-For people with family responsibilities: 834.90 euros per month and 11,688.60 euros per year.

-For people over 65 years of age or with a 65% disability: 721.70 euros per month and 10,103.80 euros per year.

-For people between 60 and 64 years old: 675.20 euros per month and 9,452.80 euros per year.

-For people under 60 years of age without charges: 546.80 euros per month and 7,655.20 per year.

Permanent disability pensions

-For severely disabled people and a dependent spouse: 1,335.80 euros per month and 18,701.20 euros per year.

-For people with severe disability and non-dependent spouse: 1,027.50 euros per month and 14,385 per year.

-For severely disabled people without a spouse: 1,082.60 euros per month and 15,156.40 euros per year.

-For people who are absolutely or totally 65 years of age or older with a dependent spouse: 890.5 euros per month and 12,467 euros per year.

-For people with absolute or total between 60 and 64 years and with dependent spouse: 834.90 euros per month and 11,688.60 euros per year.

-For people who are absolutely or totally 65 years of age or older with a non-dependent spouse: 685 euros per month and 9,590 euros per year.

-For people with absolute or total between 60 and 64 years of age with a non-dependent spouse: 638.20 euros per month and 8,934.80 euros per year.

-For people with absolute or total of 65 years or more without spouse: 721.70 euros per month and 10,103.80 euros per year.

-For people with absolute or total between 60 and 64 years without a spouse: 675.20 euros per month and 9,452.80 euros per year.

-For people with total disability derived from a common illness under 65 years of age with a dependent spouse: 532 euros per month and 7,448 euros per year.

-For people with total disability derived from a common disease under 65 years of age with a non-dependent spouse: 527.40 euros per month and 7,383.60 euros per year.

orphan’s pension

-For each beneficiary: 220.70 euros per month and 3,089.80 euros per year.

-For people under 18 years of age with a 65% disability: 434 euros per month and 6,076 euros per year.

-For cases of absolute orphanhood: 675 euros per month and 9,457 euros per year if there is a single beneficiary and 1,138.70 euros per month and 15,941.80 euros per year to be distributed if there are several beneficiaries.

Pensions in favor of relatives

-For each beneficiary: 220.70 euros per month and 3,089.80 euros per year.

-For cases of absence of a widower or orphan: if there is only one beneficiary aged 65 or over, it is 533.10 euros per month and 7,463.40 euros per year, if there is only one beneficiary under 65, it is 502.40 euros per month and 7,033.60 euros per year and if there are several beneficiaries, the individual minimum “will be increased by the amount resulting from prorating 4,565.40 euros per year between the number of beneficiaries”.
