This proposal tries to reinvent the domestic space centered on the hygee philosophy. To achieve this, the designers’ premise was to create a fluid interior space and manage to link it with the exterior from any perspective. Minimalism, purity, visual continuity, straight lines and the use of natural light were the basic guidelines for Hüga’s interior design. “We wanted a cozy space without excesses. Adapted to real needs, offering its user solutions to situations that arise on a daily basis, from the beginning, from the second he thought of a new home,” explains the company. Regarding the distribution, Hüga Home has a bedroom, a bathroom, a living room, a kitchen/dining room and a relaxation area.

Grandio’s house is the result of a large interdisciplinary team of professionals who worked on this project for 2 years: civil and mechanical engineers, architects, industrial designers, advertisers, graphic designers, economists, lawyers and technicians, who transferred all their experience and knowledge to carry it out.

Hüga is made of reinforced concrete, intelligent (home automation and energy efficient), of the highest quality and design, modular, safe, fully equipped (if necessary), easy to maintain and extremely versatile. It is located on the site without the need for preliminary work. And the concrete structure can be easily moved by truck and can be assembled in just 24 hours.

The rise of prefabricated houses

Modular construction and prefabrication are veteran techniques in the field of civil engineering and building. However, artificial intelligence, new technologies and the challenges of sustainability are radically changing this concept and taking it to a new dimension. “We are facing the revolution of ‘modern construction methods’, and this is what we want to talk to you about today,” explains the company.

This new construction system, continues Grandio, allows time savings of up to 50%, because they are made in the factory. The truth is, 80% of the construction activity has been carried out at the plant, in the Hüga case it rises to 98%.
