Marketing & eCommerce associations in Spain

Founded in 2008, the Advertising Academy is a non-profit institution located in Madrid, whose main function is to promote good practices within the world of marketing and advertising by recognizing the trajectory of those who comply with the above principles. , who qualify as honorary scholars.

Throughout its history, this institution has recognized 71 advertising professionals with the position of honorary academics. For another lake, it currently has 41 collective partners, which include universities, companies and institutions. This organization was created with the intention of promoting the quality and professionalism of professionals in the sector, as well as promoting and defining Communication and Public Relations Consulting practices in Spain. In addition, it also serves as a spokesperson and defender of companies, institutions and associations, whether they are part of its associates or not. It currently has a total of 36 partners, including: teaching partners, business partners and agencies.

This organization is made up of an association of more than 500 companies within the digital economy ecosystem, with the main purpose of generating an optimal environment for the development of said economy within the Spanish and European market. Starting from the values ​​of: representativeness, service, dialogue, innovation, inclusion and sustainability, paying special attention to digital ethics.

In this way, Adigital works on the growth of the Spanish digital ecosystem within various areas, such as: artificial intelligence, privacy, cloud technology, digital content, eCommerce, means of payment, sustainable mobility, digital sovereignty and many more.

Founded in 1965, the Spanish Association of Advertisers has more than 50 years of experience in the advertising ecosystem in the country. In this way it has become the Spanish non-profit association that represents and defends the interests of advertisers in terms of commercial communication issues. Thus, it brings together more than 220 associates and 600 brands under its support.

This association is among the youngest, since its foundation dates back to 2010. As its name indicates, this institution is built around branding. And based on this, its objective is: to represent, defend and promote branding as a professional discipline. Positioning it as an indispensable tool for the sector, which offers competitive advantages, innovation and future projection for companies and the national digital economy in general.

This association currently has around 34 associates between companies and institutions, to which it adds some collaborators such as IE University and ESIC.

Founded in 2000 as the Spanish Association of Publishers of Periodical Publications, this institution is currently known as the Club Abierto de Editores (CLABE). In addition to being a founding member of the European Innovative Media Publisher (EIMP), this is also the only association of publishers to the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) and the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises (CEPYME).

It has 170 associated groups and around 1,000 headers, which include all types of formats, periodicities and content. With this broad impact and penetration, CLABE is responsible for giving the correct place to publications and content creation, fostering a space of healthy competition and innovation for professionals and companies in the sector.

This association is made up of the main agencies and companies in charge of managing advertising in the Spanish market. That said, its function is to offer its clients recommendations and action plans through which they can connect more efficiently with their consumers, guaranteeing the profitability of their campaigns.

Founded in 1979, this association has more than 40 years of experience and a total of 16 associated agencies, which together employ more than 3,500 media professionalswhich represent the management of close to the 80% of advertising investment in the national market.

Created in 1961 under the name of Club of Marketing Directors of Madrid, The AMKT or Madrid Marketing Association is today a professional association that brings together more than 1,000 associates, which includes companies, agencies and media professionals.

Its proposal is based on offering its members the best tools and content for their professional development, keeping them up-to-date with industry trends. Likewise, it seeks to promote the networking among its partners, creating a chain of communication strengthened in the exchange of knowledge and experience. All this, with a common goal of defending the recognition of the advertising profession.

The Spanish Advertising Media Association is a non-profit organization founded in 1963 under the name of the Spanish Advertising Media Club. This name changed in 1977, also maintaining the purpose of defending the interests of the advertising media. In the same way, it ensures the effectiveness of advertising strategies, ensuring that they are governed by a code of ethics and professionalism. Its body of associates is exclusively made up of communication media that allow advertising.

Based in Zaragoza, Asocommerce is an association made up of Spanish e-commerce companies from all sectors of activity. As they explain on their website, their mission is “encourage, support and promote the development and expansion of electronic commerce and improve the competitiveness of our partners to face the technological challenges and the power of the large international players.”

This is an independent and non-profit organization, which focuses its efforts on safeguarding the interests of citizens in their relationship with the different media and communication systems, as well as with new communication technologies.

In this way, one of its functions is to ensure business development within the communication sector, so that it does not present an affront to the security and rights of Spaniards.

In Spain, Autocontrol is the independent body in charge of self-regulation of the advertising industry. In other words, it is the entity in charge of controlling and applying the appropriate codes of conduct in advertising media within commercial communications. Its jury was the first independent entity to be accredited as an alternative dispute resolution entity by the Spanish Government, and is also attached to the European Commission and the online dispute resolution platform established by the European Union.

Founded in 1995, this non-profit association has a history of more than 30 years, during which it has incorporated more than 600 direct partners and at least 4,000 indirectwhich are linked to the management of approximately 70% of advertising investment in Spain.
