In this course we see how to create a marketplace from scratch: A website where third parties will sell their products (eBay, Amazon or Etsy style).
Setting up a marketplace consists of neither more nor less than creating a platform where other sellers will be able to sign up to sell their own products.
One of the strengths of setting up a marketplace is that we do not need to have our own products or stocks, since this is done by the sellers. The financing of the business model is commission based. In other words, for each sale that is made, you keep a percentage, and you pay the rest to the seller.
Throughout 10 lessons we will see how to create the platform from scratch, starting with the installation and configuration of all the necessary software, up to the payment gateways, going through the details of design and marketing.
Also, this time we will do everything in a real marketplace, which we will later launch and make public, so it is a very interesting opportunity to see the development of a project from scratch.
