In the seventh class of the course on how to live on YouTube, we will learn about the different forms of monetization that will open up as soon as we start to gain subscribers and audience.
Our work on YouTube is based on our passion and illusion to establish a project that reaches others. But we all know that we need income to live. A channel that begins to grow translates into more responsibilities and more hours of work. And it is time to try to find non-intrusive ways to make our work profitable.
Likewise, we will learn about other forms of monetization that you may not have considered, but that can speed up the process when it comes to starting to earn some money with our content. Let’s start!
In this class we have discovered that we do not need a giant channel to start receiving income from our work. There are many channels, many of them with less than 100,000 subscribers, that are capable of generating income.
As we can see, the first and most immediate step is through the monetization systems that YouTube offers us. It is key to know what we need to become partners and begin to have a return on the advertising of our channel.
We will start with very little, basically nothing, but with daily work and a bit of strategy we can make our work on YouTube profitable.
As a task I propose, firstly, to know Twitch if you don’t already do it. It’s easy to find creators and content in your niche on YouTube, but not so much on Twitch.
Look into categories like Just Chatting, where there are plenty of creators outside of gaming content. It is a complementary activity that can bring you many joys. How could you bring your content from the YouTube channel to live sessions?
