As you may have noticed, the iPhone screen recording feature does not work with Instagram videos. Screen recordings on Instagram will appear black. So you will have to follow other steps.

How to download photos and videos from Instagram

We are going to follow similar processes when downloading content from Instagram, since we will rely on the same tool. The only one that we will need is the link to each publication. Here are the steps to download an Instagram post as a photo or video from your iPhone.

1. Find the post, photo or video, on Instagram.
2. Tap on the 3 dots in the top right, next to the username.
3. Tap on Link.
4. The link to the post will be copied.
5. Enter the web, paste the link and tap on Download.
6. Wait and tap below the post under Download Instagram photo or video.
7. In the pop-up window, tap View.
8. Touch and hold the screen and tap Add to photos.

How to Download Instagram Stories

To download stories the process is very similar, we only have to find the link to that story and copy it. Then we will paste it on this website to download the video.

1. Enter the Instagram story you want to download.
2. Touch up on the 3 points.
3. Now tap on Copy Link.
4. The link to that story will be copied.
5. Enter the web, paste the link and tap on Download.
6. Wait and tap below the story under Download.
7. In the pop-up window, tap Download.
8. An arrow will appear in the toolbar, tap on it and on Downloads.
9. You will be able to view the downloaded video and save it by tapping on the down arrow.

How to Download Instagram Reels

Again we have very similar steps when it comes to download a reel, we simply must be clear how to copy the link to that publication. Follow these steps:

1. Enter Instagram and search for the reel you want to download.
2. Bottom right tap on the 3 dots.
3. Now tap on Copy Link.
4. The link to that reel will be copied.
5. Enter the web, paste the link and tap on Download.
6. Wait and tap below the reel on Download
7. In the pop-up window, tap Download.
8. An arrow will appear in the toolbar, tap on it and on Downloads.
9. You will be able to view the downloaded video and save it by tapping on the down arrow.

The only thing you have to keep in mind is that iGram only allows you to download content from public accountsthat is, if someone has their private account, it is impossible to access these publications to download them.
