Design and screen

Accessories
The 2017 and 2018 iPad Pro do not share accessories. Neither the Apple Pencil nor the Smart Keyboard are compatible with the new iPad due to its new design and its new connections. If this is your first time buying a good iPad Pro, but if you come from a previous generation you would have to buy new accessories.
This is something to keep in mind if you already have an Apple Pencil and a 2016 iPad Pro, you’d still prefer last year’s model to save some money on accessories.
