With a week to go, in which Apple will present all the news of its operating systems, rumors or requests related to the possibilities that each one could include continue to arrive. Live Activities debuted last year with the release of iOS 16. As the name implies, they allow users to view application content directly at the bottom of the lock screen and on the Dynamic Island of iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

With its arrival on the Apple Watch, users could keep up to date with real-time notifications flight updates, scores of your favorite sports or with the information available in any of the apps compatible with this functionality.

While there are no indications that Apple is working on this update, if there are indications that watchOS 10 will introduce a new widget system that can be overlaid on top of any watch facealthough its effectiveness will depend on the update of these for third-party apps.

More detailed information about this feature was shared by Mark Gurman in his column. According to the analyst, everything seems to indicate that widget support will be “a main part” of the watchOS 10 user interface. This new design with widgets has been described as “reminiscent of the Siri face” for Apple Watch.
