The Word status bar It is used to observe changes in the document at all times and even to highlight grammatical or spelling errors based on a particular language. In this way, it is possible to obtain an overview of the sheet in case of printing.
Components
The status bar has different components, among which are:
- Page number: provides access to the “Navigation” function, which allows you to search for specific terms or sentences throughout the document. Also, indicate the sheet in which you are positioned.
- Words: directs the user to another window, in which it is possible to find the number of pages, characters with or without spaces, as well as the number of paragraphs and lines used.
- Spelling and grammar check: This is an icon in the shape of an open book, which indicates any type of error in the document, giving access to a window with word suggestions in order to correct it.
- Language: allows you to change the language presented in the writing so that the program executes the grammatical rules associated with it, which can be activated or not according to the user’s requirements.
