Steps to put square meters in a Microsoft Word document
The steps you will need to write square meters, that is, with an exponent 2 are the following:
- Write the base you need. For example, if you have to write 25 square meters, you will have to enter “25”.
- Then go to the function “Start”.
- Choose “Font”.
- Look for the option “Superscript”represented with a “x2”.
- Write the number “two” (since you are looking for square meters, but if you were looking for cubic meters you would have to write in number 3 instead).
- When you finish, press again “Superscript” to disable this feature.
If you want to learn another way you will have to write the number 25 and then the 2, or whatever exponent you want. Then select the 2 and right click about the same. Look for the option “Font” and then choose “Superscript”.
Another way that you have is to write the number 25 (continuing with the previous example) and then jointly press the keys “Alt+253”. In case you want to write cubic meters, you will have to write the base and then press “Alt+252”.

There are different special characters that are used frequently. You will need to know certain keyboard combinations to do this quickly. Next, we will show you the most common characters, remember that we will explain according to the keyboard mode in Spanish, but if you have it in English instead of pressing AltGryou will have to press “Ctrl+Alt”.
