When it comes to browsing the Internet there are many factors that we must have controlled, For example, the issue of temporary files, excess cookies, control over the explicit content of web pages, even what will be the default browser.

“Content” tab

Since the Internet options are directly from Windows, this option does not make sense nowadays, since the only browser that can be managed from it is Internet Explorer.

Steps to enter and configure your Internet connection options in Windows 10, 8 and 7 to improve your browsing
Now we will see how to access the control panel of Internet options from the currently most popular versions of Windows, and some features that we can take advantage of to speed up browsing a bit:
in W10
To enter these with a computer with Windows 10 we only have to locate ourselves in the lower right part of the screen, and Right click on the connection icon.

- Another of the few parameters that we can modify to increase the browser’s performance is the deletion of temporary files, for this we enter the tab “General”.
- Successively click on the option “Remove” located in the browsing history area.
- In the pop-up window we uncheck all the options except “Temporary Internet Files and Website Files” Y “Cookies and website data”.
In extreme cases you can also mark the history to delete it, but it is not highly recommended because with that information we have easy access to many pages on the Internet.
in W8
To open the Internet options in Windows 8, just simply follow the same procedure that we saw in Windows 10, since it is too similar in terms of interface.
We only access the “Center network and sharing” and finally we enter “Internet Options”.
in W7
On a computer with Windows 7, the process is even easier, since all you have to do is right-click on the Internet connections button and select the option “Open the Network and Sharing Center.”
- Subsequently, all that remains is to click on “Internet Options”, button located in the lower left corner of the screen.
