Step 1: Make sure you’ve visited Drive often and search suggestions are turned on.
Step 2: In the Chrome address bar, type “Google Drive”. Look for the suggestions below.
Step 3: here click Search Google Drive to directly search for files and folders in Drive.
Method 2: By creating a custom search engine for Drive
You can also create a custom search engine that will cause Chrome to search Drive directly, as follows:
Step 1: open Chrome, click the three points at the top right and select Setting .

Method 3 β Enable Google Drive Suggestions in Chrome Address Bar
With the latest updates, you can now search Google Drive directly through the Chrome search bar without any additional steps. This feature comes with the latest Chrome update, but if it is not enabled then follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Click on the three points in the upper right corner and click Setting .
Step 2: in the page you and google click Sync and Google services .
Step 3: on the next page, scroll down to Other Google services ; here, enable the Google Drive search suggestions .
This will enable Google search suggestions by displaying suggestions from Google Drive. When you search for any file, it will automatically appear in the suggestions. You can click on it to open the file.
