In this manual we intend to offer information that has to do with the development of APIs, one of the keys to modern application development, for the web or for devices.
Developing against an API has many advantages, as we will explain here. Among them, it allows us to separate the backend and frontend of the applications, offer a more advanced user experience and facilitates the scalability of the project as it grows.
The API Development Manual is not intended to be a description of API implementation processes, as it would take hundreds or thousands of pages to cover all the possible situations you may find yourself in, as well as dozens of languages, databases, frameworks, etc.
Instead, our objective is to gather articles that serve as a guide for people who intend to start developing APIs, whatever the approach or stack of technologies to be used. Or reading for people who are interested in these topics and want to know how modern applications work.
