We do use a lightbox plugin (foobox) but the lightbox works fine. In fact, if you click on a photo of a post in which the image does not appear and only the alt text appears. You will see that the photo is displayed in the lightbox correctly.
Do you mean that this may be the reason why thumbnails and photos do not appear in the news feed, categories, related posts, and even the post in question when they are already in Amazon Cloudfront?
On the other hand, the path specified in the WordPress media option is: /home/agentekc/public_html/wp-content/uploads (could it have something to do with it?).
