Casado and Ayuso met yesterday in Genoa but it was an “unsuccessful” appointment according to Sol

The national leader of the Popular Party, Pablo Casado, summoned the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, to a meeting that was held this Friday afternoon at the national headquarters of the formation, located on Calle Génova in Madrid, but the internal crisis was not resolved.

A meeting that was “unsuccessful”, according to sources from Puerta del Sol, consulted by Servimedia, after popular sources reported on that meeting that took place yesterday in Genoa to address the crisis between Casado and Ayuso, which the party classifies as “civil war”.

According to sources close to Ayuso, in statements to Europa Press, at the meeting Casado would have offered to lift the information file that the national leadership of the party has opened for her in exchange for her agreeing to say in a statement that “she had not been investigated by the PP “.

Of course, the national leadership of the party wanted to convey that it “regrets the events of recent days” and also underlined that “it will continue to defend together with all the militants the best project for the future for Spain.”

The dome accuses Ayuso of “irregularities”

This is how they transferred it from both parties in the face of the conflict in which the organization is mired and which worsened on Thursday with Ayuso’s public statement in which he lashed out harshly against the national leadership and the subsequent response at a press conference by the general secretary of the PP, Teodoro García Egea, who admitted that the party leadership has doubts of irregularities about the president of the Community of Madrid since September.

What’s more, those close to Ayuso told Servimedia that “accusing someone of corruption” cannot be solved with a meeting of this type, since what happened is “very serious.” In this sense, they believed that the only way out at this time would be the “withering dismissal” of García Egea and the convening of a national congress.
