Currently if I perform a test with the plugin it works correctly with the shortcode

In this case, if it does not work for you, it is possible that a plugin is generating a conflict with the options of the content control plugin, in this case you should check which one it may be by deactivating all the plugins and leaving only those required by your store active, after that you must go activating one by one while you test which one causes the conflict.
