David Beckham’s tattoos

The soccer player is not only one of the men most desired by women on half the planet and an international publicity claim, but his style sets trends among men and his hairstyles are among the most copied.

But his well-kept hair is not the only hallmark of the British, but his tattoos have become one of the elements that define him and each one of them has a meaning of key importance for the footballer.

The first was done in 1999, when he decided to write the name of his eldest son, Brooklyn, on his back. Later, and with the arrival of his other three little ones, the soccer player also had the names of Romeo, Cruz and Harper tattooed, the latter on his chest, where he also tattooed three cherubs holding Jesus Christ and representing his children, according to reports the newspaper ABC.

The back of his neck has been occupied, since 2004, by a winged cross, a protective element for his offspring.

His love for Victoria also has a place on his skin, exactly on his left arm, although his right extremity is also full of engravings, mostly made by the renowned and skilled tattoo artist Louis Malloy.

Precisely this artist has been in charge of making David’s last tattoo, a Chinese proverb located on his left side that says: “Life and death are determined by destiny, rank and wealth decreed by Heaven”.
