Ebro Foods fattens the portfolio with a dividend of 1.2% on June 30

Although it is weathering 2022 a little better than its reference index, it is not immune to stock market declines: so far this year it has fallen by around 3.3% (the General Index of the Madrid Stock Exchange is close to one 5.5%). And since the month of May began, its titles have suffered a 4% drop, which slightly increases the profitability of its dividend.

Ebro Foods is one of the most solid and clear values ​​in terms of shareholder remuneration in Spain. It usually distributes dividends four times a year, generally in April, June and October, which in the last two years

On June 30, the pasta manufacturer will distribute 0.19 euros to its shareholders, which offer a return of 1.2%. The last day to put the value in the portfolio is Monday, June 27. The group receives a hold recommendation from the market consensus collected by FactSet.

A stable amount

That amount, 19 cents, has remained static in the company’s quarterly payments in recent years, even in the worst moments of Covid-19. , when the population began to supply basic food, which is precisely what Ebro manufactures. And subsequently, his profit has continued to grow. In 2021, the group that owns Sos and Brillante rice reached net profits of 156 million euros, and the consensus of analysts collected by FactSet expects it to continue growing to 168 million this year (7.7% more), and up to 174 million euros in 2023. On the other hand, its upward potential also plays in favor of the value, which exceeds 24%, according to the estimates of the same expert consensus.

With these credentials, it joins the EcoDividendo, the elEconomista strategy that brings together the most attractive forthcoming payments on the Spanish stock market. It does so to replace Telefónica, which leaves the portfolio after paying its shareholders this Thursday (see information at the bottom of the page).

With the arrival of heat, the temperature also rises in the dividend calendar, which is encouraged on these dates. Still before the end of June it is possible to catch, in addition to the Ebro one, two other dividends: the Endesa one (which pays on July 1, and whose cut-off date is June 29) and the Redeia one -before Red Eléctrica, with identical dates (see calendars to the right). On the cut-off date, the securities are already listed without the right to receive the dividend. Endesa allows pocketing 4.9%, and Redeia 3.9%.

In the first week of July, a good number of Spanish listed companies remunerate investors. The profitability that Acerinox offers with its payment is particularly striking, close to 5%, while both Applus and Acciona are around 2.3%.
