Get a customer list in WooCommerce – .com

In today’s tutorial we will see how to get a CSV list of all your WooCommerce clients, to print or use with other software.

And it is that sometimes the simplest things are not as easy as it may seem. This is the case of drawing a list of all your clients. Well, it turns out that WooCommerce does not let you do it. But come on, no problem, there is a plugin for that.

Get a list of names and emails of your customers

The first thing to do is install the plugin. Its name is quite explanatory, because what it allows us is precisely that. Export the emails of our clients.

For the record, this plugin is very simple and limited, and it only lets us do that. But it is also true that it fulfills its mission very well, that is, we cannot complain.

If we wanted to export other things, we should use other more complete plugins with more features, such as , or .

If you want to learn more and know other options, take a look at the class, in which we see it in detail through videos.

Well, once installed and activated we go to “WooCommerce / Reports / Clients”, and there we will see a new link (yes I know, it’s very hidden)which will allow us to get the list of marras:

As you can see, there are only a couple of options available:

  • Export customer name: If we select “Yes” in the list we will have a column with the name of the client. Totally recommended.
  • Remove duplicate emails: If during the process there are duplicate emails, it deletes them.

You give “Export CSV”, and that’s it. It will create and download a CSV file automatically, so that you can use it as you wish

Why can I want that list of clients?

They are usually exported for use with other software, such as a CRM (like Zoho or SugarCRM)or an email marketing tool (like Mailchimp)since the vast majority usually have a CSV file importer.

In any case, we must bear in mind that importing and exporting CSV files is not the best way to do things, if we can automate, synchronize or even integrate it.

For example, with we can achieve full integration between our WordPress users, customers and newsletter subscribers. You can see it live in the class of the . And if you use Mailchimp, you can sync your lists with the plugin for .

And in the case of CRMs, why use an external CRM, when there is a , or even ? Check it out, it’s always easier to manage everything from a single control panel, instead of having everything scattered.

Summary and conclusion

allows us to make a list (export) the emails of our clients in a CSV. But before doing so, let’s ask ourselves if there isn’t a better alternative 🙂
