It is possible that the map is not being loaded due to an error in the console
This error is caused by the Maps JavaScript API not being enabled in your API project. You may need to enable the Maps JavaScript API in the Google Cloud Platform Console APIs.
Check if the google API is active or you can also generate a new one and check if the map works again with that, you can also see this guide by google where it specifies what to do in these cases, specifically point number 3
