The next and last option may seem the most complicated of all, but we are going to explain it to you so that, with this app, which the vast majority have on their computers, you know how to download a YouTube video in a few simple steps.
The application in question is VLC Media Player, and if you have ever downloaded and played a video on your computer, it is most likely that you have seen it from this app, since it is pre-installed on most PC devices.

2. Within the app, go to the Media tab and look for the Open network location option.
3. Copy the URL address of the video you want to download in the search bar that appears.
4. When the video opens, click on the Tools tab and then click on Multimedia Information.
5. Here, we just need to copy the Place link and paste it into our browser.
6. The video will open in the new tab, we will have to press the right mouse button and choose the option Save video as…
And so we can save the YouTube video in a folder. This is possible because you have removed the video from the platform so it no longer has the download protections of this app.
