Many users are accustomed to playing video games with a console controller, and if you’re one of them, don’t worry – it’s straightforward with a remote control.

This walkthrough doesn’t require any external applications. The title itself provides an option to play with a controller, also known as a “gamepad.” Since the procedure differs on PC and mobile, we’ll divide the tutorial into two parts: first on PC, and then on mobile. We’ll demonstrate how to connect your controller and then select the option to play with a controller within Stumble Guys.

How to Play Stumble Guys with a Controller on PC

In this first section, we’ll explain how to play Stumble Guys with a controller on PC. Before you begin, ensure you have the game downloaded; however, do not start it just yet. It’s necessary to connect the controller to the computer first. Controller compatibility depends on the specific controller, the computer, and Steam. Controllers like those for PS4 or those created for computers typically don’t require driver installations on Steam. Simply plug them into the computer or connect them via Bluetooth by pressing the Bluetooth button on the remote and then on the PC to select it.

Once the remote is connected, start Stumble Guys and choose to play with the controller instead of the keyboard. To do this, go to Settings by clicking on the nut icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Within this submenu, navigate to Control Devices and select Command by clicking on the yellow arrow. Now, you can play with the controller and navigate through the menus of Stumble Guys with it. To begin a game, click on “Play” in the main menu.

There are controllers that come with mounts to enhance your experience by providing a more comfortable grip on the mobile. Some controllers have a physical connection, where they are plugged into the mobile using a cable. If this isn’t the case, you can connect via Bluetooth. Once connected, the procedure within Stumble Guys remains the same. Navigate to Settings in the upper left corner of the main menu, and select Command under Control Devices.

How to Connect a Remote to the Mobile with Bluetooth?

1. Open the Settings application on your mobile, usually identified by a gear, nut, or hammer symbol.
2. Click on “Bluetooth” and activate it to recognize nearby devices.
3. Synchronize the controller. For most controllers that work via Bluetooth, there’s a large button that you need to hold down to make it discoverable.
4. Finally, the remote will appear on the mobile in the list of nearby devices. Simply click on it to connect.
