Just like you have your robots.txt file:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /administrator/
Disallow: /cache/
Disallow: /components/
Disallow: /images/
Disallow: /includes/
Disallow: /installation/
Disallow: /language/
Disallow: /libraries/
Disallow: /media/
Disallow: /modules/
Disallow: /plugins/
Disallow: /templates/
Disallow: /tmp/
Disallow: /xmlrpc/
You are blocking access for indexing to your /images and /administrator folders, which on the one hand is fine but if we consider that the images of VirtueMart products are stored in:
/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/
/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/resized/
Unless you set those paths to “Allow”, in addition to freeing “/images” from your robots.txt, they will not be able, as you wish, to index those images so that if they have correct descriptive names, they will be displayed within search results. Google searches.
