We have seen an increasing demand for local servers from those who are currently subscribed to our services and also from potential new customers and for these reasons we have stepped up our efforts to make it viable. The servers in Brazil will become our main storage location for websites throughout the Latin American region and are available for shared hosting plans, WordPress hosting and Cloud hosting.
With this update, we seek to establish a higher quality service for our community of customers in Latin America. Through the new Data Center, subscribers will have even faster servers and even more credibility for the region’s websites.

We dedicated great efforts to choosing a Data Center that met our demanding quality standards and met the needs of our customers.
Launching a new Data Center was a significant step for us and we are happy that our teams have done it with such responsibility and care. This process took almost six months and involved a lot of research, new configurations and many tests so that our Tier-3 Data Center could be available and ready to connect to our global network.
‘s servers in Brazil are now fully integrated and functional, as are all . Because we have total integration, our team of technical experts can continuously monitor, test and improve the servers and software present in São Paulo in the same way as in the other Data Centers.
‘s new Data Center hardware solutions include:
- Special RAM memories that are used to support automatic recovery of ECC memory;
- Full SSD drives used to store files and user databases;
- RAID10 technology that is tailored to prevent interruptions during hard drive failure;
- Intel® Xeon® processors are used to ensure the best hosting experience;
- 25G fiber connections between the switch and the server are used internally in our system for better performance.

Tests conducted on a tool called GTmetrix demonstrate the best performance of websites stored on the Brazilian CD for end users based in Latin America. For example, we compared separate cases of site visitors trying to connect from , to Brazil with a customer trying to connect from Brazil to . The latter case achieved better performance results.
To better understand the results, there are three main things to consider about loading speed and website optimization.
