Hello. With what you tell us it is impossible to provide a clear or precise answer.
You have to describe the error you get. Does the page not open? Does it go blank? Do you get any error? What if you see the source code of the page? Do you get errors in the Javascript console? Do you access the page by double clicking on an .html file? Or do you access from a web server?
From the menu “View > Options for developers” you have several utilities to see the source code that Chrome detects, to access the Javascript console and see the errors of this language, or to access the tools for developers, which is a complete number of utilities to understand what is happening in the browser so that things are displayed that way.
