Non-contributory pensions: requirements and minimum amounts for 2021

In the case of non-contributory retirement pensions, beneficiaries are people aged 65 or over who, having lived in Spain for at least 10 years (and the last two years prior to applying and consecutively), are in a situation of need and has the objective of guaranteeing “an economic benefit, free medical-pharmaceutical assistance and complementary social services”.

In the non-contributory disability pensions, people in a situation of disability and in a state of need will be beneficiaries so that they are covered with the same rights as in retirement, but with some peculiarities: being between 18 and 64 years old, residing in Spanish territory for at least five years (the last two must be consecutive and immediate to the date of application) and have a degree of disability of at least 65%.

What is the minimum amount of non-contributory retirement pensions?

What is the minimum amount of non-contributory disability pensions?

They are the following:

-The minimum amount of the full disability pension is 402.80 euros per month and 5,639.20 euros per year.

-The minimum amount of the disability pension with the 50% increase (for cases of greater dependency, from 80% disability) will be 604.20 euros per month and 8,458.80 euros per year.
