Notion Course #5. Formulas, functions and relationships between tables – .com

In the fifth lesson of the Notion course, we are going to discover how to work with formulas, functions and relationships between tables.

As we saw in the previous class, working with tables is essential, and it opens up a new world of possibilities, and there are still blocks and elements to discover, but it is true that we will use tables in practically all projects due to their potential.

And within the tables we can not only create field types to enter data but to be able to do calculations between them, with Google Sheets-type functions and also to be able to create relationships between tables. Let’s go for it with the class!

Working with functions or formulas in Notion is not complex, especially in the most basic functions, since we can do more complex topics, which we leave for the advanced course, if you are interested, do not hesitate and propose it!

But as you can see, the structure is similar to a spreadsheet, function name, parentheses, references to fields, signs of operations… and we can enhance our tables as you can’t even imagine.

In this class we leave our calendar project, take the templates that we have seen at the end of the video, so you also discover templates, and work on a couple of examples or three to add two columns, it is important to do it to bring what you have learned to reality .

If you have any doubt or question, you can send it through the support form of the subscriber intranet. See you in the next lesson! 🙂
