Interesting plugin for WooCommerce that offers the possibility to “close” your store at certain times of the day or days of the week.
Some of you may ask, but why do that? The beauty of an ecommerce is that it is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a week, right? Yes, in principle yes, but sometimes businesses offer products for immediate shipping or distribution. For example, a restaurant that ships orders at lunchtime. Or an express technical service. Then this plugin kicks in.
You also have the option of marking a vacation period, just in case August arrives and no one remembers to post a notice. In this way, during the marked time you will not be able to make purchases.
In fact, the plugin allows not only to “block” purchases during this period, but also the option to only “warn” the customer that it is out of hours, and that the order will not be served until a certain time or day (and that will also appear on the order sheet).
The message that will be shown to the user is customizable, so that you can adapt it to what interests you the most, according to your product, service or specific context. And to curl the loop, you can use the shipping types to select those “closing” times only for some products or services 🙂
