PHP Mail Configuration in Global Site Configuration for…

Good morning Luis,

I have some doubts about how to perform the test that you indicate, let me explain.

Having already installed an installation inside the public_html directory, how should I do to safeguard the web that is currently installed?
If I understand you correctly, within public_html I should create a directory for example joomla17 and within this unzip the pack that you provide me to carry out the test?
Then it would be to generate a new db, create user and password, assign privileges, etc, and start the installation as normally done but in this case it would be from Content only visible to registered users so that it takes the installation folder?

If there are no other alternatives to solve the problem indicated in the post, in order to carry out tests I will do all that you indicate, but I would need to not lose the current content so that, in the event that we manage to solve the problem of the records, we can transfer them, it would be possible or Would I be forced to start all the work again after this installation?

I’m a bit confused with this problem and I don’t know what would be the best solution, I’ve been looking to see if something similar happened to other people who installed the Joomla Community pack and it seems to work correctly for them, so I’m surprised that it doesn’t do it for me .
First of all I tried to install the pack that you provided me a few days ago, but I rejected it because I had a few untranslated modules at the time.

Well, I will not extend myself any further, as soon as you clarify the doubts that I have raised at the beginning of this post, I will get to work.

Greetings and thank you very much for your interest in solving this problem.
